He’s constantly getting into things he’s not supposed to and he’s really into the werewolf erotica.It’s not like I can let him out because the Library of the Profane is meant to contain Chaos. The rest of the world isn’t. He’s awful about keeping his identity secret too. A warlock, a Hellhound, and a vampire know he’s here and they are bugging me to let Chaos have a little fun.I just want a normal day of summoning demons, cursing people, and telling people to be quiet in my library. No, just no. I can't imagine why others have given this so many stars. It's erratic, confusing, stereotypical, filled with sordid language and a NON-EXISTANT sexual tension. Where's the attraction between the MC and these incredible guys that the author describes so well? It's not enough build-up. NOT Enough. The MC isn't that kickass and WE don't get enough of her backstory to warm to her. All of a sudden she's just multi-snuggling and having sex that apparently "means something to her" but is described as a quickie. There's just more porn than feeling. The story and characters could be excellent, but it's not being told with enough strength or uniquiness. It just becomes muddled, confusing and frankly BAD. Pros: funny. Mc was entertaining and the other characters POV are done fairly well. Overall I liked it and will be reading the next one.Cons: chaos is a super old god and occasionally the author’s pattern of speech for him is the same at the MC who is of the modern age, something chaos is supposed to be new to. The second thing is that the book abruptly ends. It’s supposed to be a nine book series. I was expecting some conclusion and their wasn’t, just cuts off after the end of the chapter.
