Neil wants to be a boy for a Daddy, but he fears he is too old for anyone at his age. Then his best friend informs him of a weekend trip he is now signed up for. A trip to the mountains and a little kink on the side. Neil is a lawyer and trying to figure out if he wants to become a partner and work his life away or find a Daddy and play away.Upon arrival at his destination he is mistaken for a Daddy and this is not what he wants to deal with. He wants someone to take the stress away which is why he is there. It now looks like he will be there for a vacation and not play time. At check-in he is intrigued by Jamie; they are the owner's own boy. It seems like Jamie is flirting with him and he daydreams a scene where he is Jamie's Daddy.Jamie is infatuated with Neil. They know that this is a boy, and he lacks confidence. They go overboard in their actions to let him know he would be safe. Jamie also knows they have been given the opportunity to add a third to be with they and their Daddy. So they want to think about adding Neil if he does not find his own. So to start the ball rolling Jamie goes and looks through all the Daddy's that will be there this weekend. Can the three become a permanent family?I simply just love this story so much... there is so much love. I immediately loved Neil. His insecurities, his beautiful personality, his kind heart - he was a fantastic and likable character. Jamie was full of life and energy, and I loved that we have an MC with a prosthetic, but that was never the main focus of our story. The gender fluidity was also another great aspect of the story, but again, it was not the focus. Sebastian was the best daddy, and if he made a mistake or two, it was within reason and easily forgivable.And that really sums up why I loved this story - everyone was so REAL. They had dimensions, they made mistakes, they had histories. Basically, they had many facets that made up who they were. Despite this, they remained adult and communicated with one another. The romance blossomed into something beautiful, and I loved being on that ride.Then, rather than one epilogue a few years later, at the end we got a few short chapters peaking into the future. I have to admit that it was possibly my favorite way to see a book end. This may be because it was clear it wasn’t an ending. These men have years of love ahead of them, but the picture was so realistic I feel like I know them, like I’ll pop in to visit the Meadowlark Lodge in a few months just to catch up and see what they’re up to now.The best books take you on a journey, but the most unforgettable books make you feel like you’ve taken up residence in their pages. I’ll happily visit Sebastian, Jamie, and Neil again in the future, and it’ll feel like coming home.
